Can’t find the sell-by date, what should I do?

We do not recommend consuming a product without a date. All Dietz & Watson products should have a clearly legible sell by date.

Is the sell-by date the same as the expiration date?

For all Dietz & Watson products, yes, the sell-by date would be the consumption date as well.

How long can products be refrigerated after opening?

Our premium deli varieties should be consumed within 3-5 days after opening or slicing. We also suggest you store the product in the meat drawer on the coldest setting.

Are Dietz & Watson franks fully cooked? How long do I cook a frank?

All Dietz & Watson Franks and smoked sausage varieties are fully cooked. We do suggest that you heat these meats before eating to enjoy their full flavor.

How do I cook a Chef Carved Ham?

Our chef-carved ham is already cooked, so it just needs to be heated. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees, unwrap the ham, and heat for 30 minutes. Be careful not to overcook, as oven temperatures can vary by about 100 degrees. To learn more check out our blog.
