jalapeño popper grilled cheese

Jalapeño Popper Cheddar Grilled Cheese. A classic with a kick, this twist on a lunchtime staple will fire up the whole fam.

ingredients

  • D&W Jalapeño Cayenne Cheddar Cheese
  • D&W Imported Gourmet Bacon
  • Jalapeño Slices (w/ membranes removed)
  • Cream Cheese
  • Italian Bread
  • Butter

directions

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Stuff each jalapeño half with just about 1 ounce of cream cheese.
  3. Bake stuffed jalapenos on cookie sheet for 25-30 minutes. Remove from oven and cut into bite sized pieces.
  4. Cook up D&W bacon to desired crispness.
  5. Place 2 slices of D&W Jalapeno Cayenne Cheddar Cheese on one side of sliced Italian bread.
  6. Top cheese with jalapeno and bacon slices, then close with other half of bread.
  7. Spread butter on both halves of bread, and then place sandwich on pan with medium low heat.
  8. Grill up each side until bread is lightly browned and cheese is melted and gooey.
